Elizabeth Pomeroy

Elizabeth Pomeroy holds a Ph.D. in English from UCLA and has pursued a career in teaching and administration. She is an active writer and editor and currently teaches English at Pasadena City College. She has written articles on literature and history as well as books about Queen Elizabeth I and the Huntington Library, where she served on the staff for ten years.
Her recent books include John Muir: A Naturalist in Southern California and Lost and Found: Historic and Natural Landmarks of the San Gabriel Valley, which is a selection of her regular newspaper columns on historic places.
